The dealer recomended I get a trans flush done.
but one of the top transmission specialists told me not to because its possible to cause more damage. Also said if fluid smelled like "fish" then not to have done because of that being a carbon build up that could possibly "help" any problems if there was.
no problems with trans now and fluid looks good.

not sure what to do if anything.
thnx

The trans flush works great. If you do a flush and the trans quits, then you had a serious problem waiting to happen. I recommend flushing the tranny every 60k.

I agree with DennyP. Be sure to use the latest DEXRON VI fluid.
