The truck would not start. The starter turned but I realized I had no fuel pressure. I replaced the fuel pump relay and fuel pump with no result. With the fuel pump hot wired it produced the 60 psi required at the fuel raill but the truck still would not start. I hooked my scanner up to the vehicle and it reads "link error". I cut the truck off for 10 seconds and still the same "link error". I noticed that the ECM 1 fuse has blown and blows every time a new one is installed.

Check ignition module wire between the fuse and the mod. also check the tach wire to the cluster, if it grounds out it will do this too. The Module is #10 in the diagram, right rear on engine.

Tach wire is the white wire at the coil. You can try cutting it and see if the fuse stops blowing.
