I just had the new front brakes installed and a ABS speed sensor replaced on the right front. All the wiring to the sensor had to be replaced as well.I believe it was for the left and right front. After a couple of days the low traction light started coming on periodicall, followed by the ETS and ABS light. Took it back and the code came up Anti Theft, but the ABS appeared to be fine. Then the ABS started to engage whenever they wanted to.Sometimes when backing up and on dry roads. When the lights are off,the ABS work fine, but the lights are only off for the first 2 min. or so. What might be the cause? I was told I might have to replace the computer. Can you help?

Have the ABS system scanned with a chassis scanner to see what codes are coming up.

If equipped with anti theft, the reset procedure should be in the owners manual.

Thank you for responding to my question.I'm taking the car tomorrow to be scanned again. The anti theft light never came on even though the scanner said it was the problem.I will have it reset and hope the problem's solved.I forgot to mention that something leaked from under the right front near the tire;could the new ABS senor have leaked?
