Car starts and idles fine, fuel pump kicks in and turns off as usual. After about 20min driving and car reaches operating temp, fuel pump kicks in and keeps running as I can hear it clearly whinning. Then
while accelerating it loses power and stalls. Restarts fine and then it repeats the process. Changing the fuel filter now as it probably needs it anyways. Junk yard has a fuel pump for 75$ but, will this fix the problem?

Thanks

I wouldnt jump on the fuel pump just yet, check the fuel pump, relay, that could be bad, causing an open circuit when it gets hot, do that and the filter, and lets see how that goes before we do a pump. by the way, did you notice the spark when it stalls, because you could have a crank sensor problem also. I doubt its both but one of the two
