I had sent in a question about the removal of spark plugs for a 1996 cavalier and rceeived a reply stating check your car repair manual - thats a no brainer - but it didn't not address what my real issue is - how can I remove these spark plugs WITHOUT damaging the threads, apparantly the spark plugs have NEVER been changed before

Hi
Warm engine not all the way to operating temp. Try and loosen about 1/4 turn then spray PB Blaster around plug. If plug is real tight let it soak then use a tighten and loosen switching back and forth. This will break off carbon.
Hope this helps
Thanks for donate
Use anti-seeze compound on new plugs to aid in next removal
