Hi,
I have a 1993 Chevy Cavalier with 247,000 KMS on it, i am having a little trouble with the starter, although it was my fault, i accidentally touched the 2 battery posts together while trying to take the cables off, and i accidentally melted the Negative post off the battery, and I think it fried my starter, it's not the ECM, and when i try to start it while boosting to another vehicle with another battery i found, everything else works, like the fuel pump and i hear all the relays clicking, but when i put it in the "Start" position, nothing, and i don't hear a click on the starter, all i hear is a relay click. My dad thinks its the fusible links but i think i need a new starter, but my car now doesn't start, i was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to get this baby running again
thanks
