1988 Chevy Camaro rough idle
Engine Performance problem
1988 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 38000 miles
I have a camaro with 38k miles on it, it have a complete tuneup done 800 miles ago (4yrs ago), the car now idles rough when warm and cold and under heavy acceleration the engine spudders and will backfire out of the intake, once it gets going it runs fine, what do you think the problem is or could be

Clean out the idle air control and EGR valve and test the throttle position and manifodl absolute pressure sensor-also check the fuel pressure

I have had everything you suggested checked and now the car idles real smooth and I expieriance no hesitation when cold, I do still have hesitation once the engine has warmed up and there is still some intake popping, the Mass Air Flow has also been cleaned
