Hey guys,

Driving down the road yesterday and noticed the dashboard warning lights flickered on and off for a second as I was driving and the car just died. I put it in neutral to coast and tried to re-start and there was no power whatsoever. When I turned the ignition switch it was as if there was no battery connected. Initially, thought it was the alternator. Got it home and put a voltmeter on the battery and showed good voltage (12.95). Checked the battery cables and no corrosion and connections were good. What should I check next now?

Check your underhood electrical center an dsee if one of the larger fuses have blown out. They are 40 amp to 60 or ven 125 amp. If those are all good, then check by the starter for a burnt fusible link, they are smaller wires going to larger wires.
