my blazer stalls every now and then. It happens when I have my foot on the brake. Could the problem be from my brake master cylinder

Does it happen in gear, park, neutral, reverse, low?

Do the brakes apply just fine? Or you notice harder then normal?

I have an 1997 chevy blazer it stalls every now and then. It happens when it in park, neutral, in any gear. It also stalls when I am driving and about to stop or slowing down. My brakes are soft all the time and almost touch the floor. I have tried every thing to try and fix this problem but cant find what the problem were it actually is.
