Chevrolet Astro Repair Question

Oxygen sensor
I own 98 chevy astro van and it runs rough and the service engine soon light is on. would the oxygen sensor make it run rough. could you please tell me where the oxygen sensor is and how many there are?I went on auto zone .com and they said i needed two but i only see one on the exhaust manifold before catalet converator. is there a cheap computer to read to the car computer.

yes i would diagnose the problem properly as service writer stated and then check out the free info on the codes or any of us would be more than happy to help you diagnose it once you do have the codes
