1998 Chevy Astro
after putting brake fluid in, appling brakes and only slows down, dont stop. could it be the master cylinder?

Hi there,
How low was the brake fluid? you may have a leak and that will cause a loss of brake pressure, you may have little or no brake pads left, It could be a faulty master cylinder, I suggest you urgently have your brakes inspected by a qualified mechanic as there is a problem there which need attention ASAP.
