First I will say I am very dumb about cars but I will explain what I know the best that I can. My check engine light came on a week and a half ago. Code P0320. Probably ECM doesn't know where camshaft or crankshaft is. Someone changed out the sensor and the connector. They had disconnected the battery while doing this. When battery was hooked back up, check engine light would blink 8 times then stop. And the car would not start. The car has a new battery and charge had been tested. Any thoughts on even just getting car started so I can go to a mechanic if needed.

Error code P0320 in automotive diagnostics refers to a problem with the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) circuit. So, it sounds like the electrical connector is not in good shape or you have a defective crankshaft sensor, but it would be good if you could upload a short video of the engine cranking over so I can see it to make sure the engine is in good shape. Here is the correct way to install the crankshaft sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
