Check engine light

I got an error code that said the problem was my speed sensor.I changed it, but the light is still on.

That error code means there was an issue in the speed sensor circuit. You now have to troubleshoot further to find the cause. It could be the sensor, any related wiring, the computer itself or even a mechanical failure in the transmission. Or you may even be dealing with the wrong sensor. You need a lab scope to diagnose it properly.
