My ignition switch got stuck and would not move out of the lock position to ACC we ended up removing it and putting in a new one and getting a new key we coded the key ourselves to the ignition. Now the new ignition will turn to ACC but when we go to turn the car on it wont start it will click. We thought it may be the battery but everything seems to turn on lights stereo. We had it charged overnight at AutoZone because they said it was at 60% but when we tried it again it wont start. Any suggestions?

Even though you charged the battery we still need to suspect this is the issue if the starter clicks but does not turn the engine over.

I attached a number of articles that will help explain this. However, the battery is the leading cause of this issue and not the ignition switch so it sounds like you fixed that issue and now just have a weak battery.

I would suggest having the battery tested again and if it is low, just have it replaced and retest it. Let us know what happens. Thanks
