hey guys, I just replaced a cracked cylinder head here at home and when I first turned the ignition, it started running fine. However the engine began to climb in rpm's so I turned it off at 3000 rpms. each additional time I tried to start the engine, it backfired and blew the air filter lid off. I went through my intake parts and replaced the gaskets and I also changed the injector o-rings. now it doesnt back fire but it still wont start. it sounds like its not getting fuel but I can seem to smell it. a diagnostic reported incorrect oxy sensors, catalyst, and EVAP. I pulled the catalytic convertor off the exaust manifold and still no dice... any suggestions?

you may want to check the timing chain marks and make sure the chain didn't slip. You can also do a compression test to make sure all the cylinders are even, once you verify all the mechanical parts are good then we can look into the electrical issues. Let me know how you make out.
