Bought this car for my grandson who was walking to work and school. First it started running hot so the mechanic changed the fan that cooled the radiator and ac. Then the radio quit working, no problem as long as he doesn't have to walk to work. Now the interior lights and everything come on but the car want crank so the mechanic changed the fuses ( I could have done that) but couldn't figure out why they blew, 45 minutes after leaving the mechanic drove the car about 30 miles he went in Kroger came out and the car want start again?

Well I will try that next. I took the radio out and there were 2 wires just hanging there ( and the radio did stop working 3 weeks ago) so I just left it out and checked the fuses and the security/ key entry fuse was blown. I replaced that and it cranked up (crossing fingers it keeps running). I told him not to use the keyless entry and will get a new radio. But if the radio is the problem shouldn't he be able to use the keyless entry? TY so much trying to keep my Grandson from walking to work and college is driving me crazy! :)

It may be the wires that are hanging down have touched and screwed up the security system. All you can do is buy an extra fuse an dshow your grandson which one it is then if he uses the keyless entry and it blows he can change it and continue on his merry way
