Thirty minutes to an hour after turning on A/C engine shuts off

Anytime I turn on my A/C for example thirty minutes to an hour the engine stops working. I will need to wait for five to ten minutes before it starts.
Please what could be the problem and solution?

If you do not run the air the engine runs okay? If so I would say the A/C system is overcharged. here is a guide to help you check it:
