Excess oil burning

2001 Cadillac Seville V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles
I change my oil on a regular basis, however I find myself adding at less 3 qts between changes. I dont see a oil leak but smell oil burning. What could it be?

you need to take it to the dealer and have them do a cleaning of the rings (piston), the oil ring gets stuck and you burn oil. They do this with chemicals, and you may have to do it a couple times. It works, I have done it numberous times.
