1996 Other Cadillac Models BACK BRAKES

Brakes problem
1996 Other Cadillac Models V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles

4 DR NORTHSTAR ENG...
AFTER REPLACING BACK BRAKES, THE AUTO ABS LIGHT CAME ON, AND THE BACK RIGHT SIDE WHEEL SMELLS LIKE IT'S BURNING. ONLY THAT RIGHT WHEEL SMELLS THE SMOKING STOPPED.
HELP ME WITH ANSWER, THANKS??

This vehicle have rear disc or drum brakes? If it has disc brakes suspect faulty caliper. Many times after brake pads are replaced the old caliper will stick causing the brakes to constantly rub which will also throw your ABS system light.
