My 1991 Fleetwood sometimes will not start. The key turns over but nothing happens. We can turn the key off, wait 5 minutes and then it will start. The Cadillac dealer found no code and hence cannot repair the intermitten problem. This always happens at the worst time. Like when you stop for gas and others are waiting in line for gas! Help! :x

i had this problem (2) times the first time it happened i had to replace my starter ,then every thing was fine until i stopped at the store one day for maybe (5) minutes when i came out to start the car i turned the key an nothing happened ,the last time i had this problem before the starter problem i could let the car sit for 30 minutes and it would start but not this time ,..this time the problem was the chip in my ignition key i got anew key and now its fine ,but i suggest you have the starter checked first
