1992 Cadillac Fleetwood will not start

This car has all ways started. I put a new battery in it an it will not start, it will turn over. If I put gas in the carb it will start up, but die once the gas runs out? Also the trunk will not tighten down. I cked all the fuses in the car an under the hood, is it possible there is a fuse for the gas pump somewere inline with the gas pump? That it. Hoping there is so I dont have to re place the gas pump. Again the car allways started thank, bruce

If you can hear the fuel pump come on when you turn key to run-check the fuel pressure if its within specs and for injection pulses. If not check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay-
