1998 Cadillac Deville Help, it just died

Hey guys,

I was hoping someone could help me.

I drove it just June 20th no problems. Took it out June 22nd and it was dead.

The digital dash shows a boxs around all the gear indicators and all boxes flash. There should just be a box around the P when you first try to start it.

Average mileage and mileage left on the left part of the digital dash shows ---

I also have: Theft System Problem, Car May Not Start.

In December I had a new IPC installed.

Any clues guys. I am ready to junk the car. It isn't dependable. I was told not to buy it from a friend of mine who is a GM tech. He told me Caddys are good as long as there is a factory warranty, after that you have to get rid of them. I wish I had listened.
