98 Cadillac stalling

My 98 Cadillac Deville stalled a few times during the last two - three weeks. This happened only when I got off from the highway. In each instance, I drove downhill by slowing down and made a complete stop at the stop sign. The engine stalled when I made a complete stop. What might be the cause?

Sounds like the T.C.C. (Torque Convertor Clutch) Solenoid is going on you. Simple test would be to drive around not exceeding 44MPH. Once you break 45-55MPH the car will stall when coming to a stop.
