Im going through the floor board where to I drill my hole to take out my fuel pump I know you should drop the tank but I need to use the car now

Drill peep holes first.
But drill shallow. After best guess a 1/4" pilot hole first then 3/8"

very dangerous and really slower than removing the tank. Better off doing it the right way
