1990 Cadillac Deville catalytic converter
Im tryen to find out why my catalytic converter gets hot to the point it glows red, I have had it replaced twice and it still gets hot. I have changed the muffler,o2 censor and the ecm. The car also isn't given good gas mileage and does not have much power. please help me.

sounds like the exhaust is too rich
pull your codes off and warmer on your heater controls at the same time, with your key in the on position, look for codes in the millage center, starts out 8.8.8 and ends with 0.7.0
