I need to replace my catalytic converter on my 1992 cadillac deville. I was wondering what you thought about a direct fit magnaflow catalytic. Also I was watching a video on youtube I know this is stupid but I saw a guy pull out his sound baffel in his intake. Does a 1992 cadillac deville have a sound baffel. Also what happens if I do take it out. The guy said it gives you a few extra horsepower. What does a sound baffel do. I wont take mine out I just want to know what it does and what happens if you take it out. Thanks.

Does your state requires an annual emission testing before registering the vehicle at DMV? If so I don't think you gonna make it due to emission controls tampering
