2003 Buick Rendezvous Automatic

I currently am having problems with my vehicle having the check traction system light on (and anti-lock break/traction off). It does not come on directly but does after a little time. My husband has attempted to take my vehicle to AutoZone and to a mechanic )he knows personally) to get the codes read by the machine. For some reason he said we are unable to retrieve the codes. That the hookup has no power. How would I fix this so that I am able to read the codes? How do I make the hookup have power? Thank you!

Usa a test light to check all fuses, the diagnostic connector is piggy backed to a fuse in the interior fuse panel.

Would this provide a different answer than using a fuse diagnostic kit? We have already used a diagnostic kit 2 times with no fuses coming back bad.

I have never seen a fuse tester kit before, but if that is what it is designed to do, then it must be ok. Did you test the fuses in the underhood panel? Inside there is fuse 32 (20 amp) it is the one that powers the diagnostic connector
