2002 Buick Regal Stalling

Car began starting rough, then quitting. Then stalled completely at about 35 mph. Would not restart. Finally able to drive 4 miles home, but stalled 5 times enroute. Steering wheel locked twice.

Could this be related to the chip in the ignition key, or the chip reader?

Have owned car for only a little over a month. Purchased from dealer, but 30 day warranty expired. Was checked thoroughly by independent mechanic before purchase.

Has the security light come on and stayed on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Has the check engine light come on?

What is the security light?
The fuel pump pressure as not been checked.
The check engine light has not come on

Sorry.I just posted another problem, & thought this was a response to the new question. Thanks for your effort. This issue turned out to be an ignition problem.
