When the ignition is switched on the, the restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) performs a test of itself and the inflatable restraint module (airbag). Basically, what this code is saying, is that there is a problem with the SDM, inflatable restraint module or its circuit. Airbag system service is best left to professionals due to the fact they can accidentally deploy and there are many safety and legal ramifications regarding airbag repair.
