1994 Buick Lesabre alternator cutting in and out car runnin

I have a 1994 buick lesabre that the alternator cuts in and out and sometimes doesnt work at all and the car runs untill the battery dies. And then the car will not start could this be a vacum leak or a bad relay or something like that?

Your alt. Has an internal regulator there is no external cotrol, just a voltage wire that tells regulator to turn alt on when volt. Is needed.
You can go to Auto Zone they can test but I think replacing alt. Will solve problem.
