It is fairly easy. You'll need a 3/8ths inch ratchet and a couple of 3/8ths inch extensions with a 5/8ths inch plug socket. I recommend A/c plugs. This information about the number(part) and type with the plug gap is shown under the hood on an engine information label. If you have never tuned up your own engine it's a good idea to research the method. Taking the plug wires off is crucial to keeping them from being damaged. You must use a pair of plug wire pliers or needlenose pliers to twist and crack their tight fit, you will feel the plug wire break its mating with the plug. Why not take time and read the site menu section under auto maintenance than look for tune-up, where if you select it you may read the best and easiest way that any mechanic performs, daily, if he has some tune-up work. OK my name is Joe
I'm glad your getting involved with doing things yourself. It is nice to feel the accomplishment, and save your money. The website is the best. I wish I came here 20 years ago. But I wish for alot of things. It;s a reality for you, thank these people. OK sir. Good luck, and if you read and take your time, you'll have a lifetime of fun and better understanding of how this(engine) operates. Joe
