Brakes work but brake pedal goes to the floor and will only come back up manually. Brake lights work as well, the brake pedal just won't return to normal position

Hello,

There are a few reasons why the brake pedal goes to the floor.
It could be due to being low on fluid, faulty brake master cylinder, it can also happen due to a leak in the brake system. The leak could be from anywhere in the line or connections.
One of the common reasons is having air trapped in the brake line.

It will be a good idea to inspect the brake lines for any leak and make sure the fluid is at the correct level.

Have you had brake serviced performed recently?

Take a look at this article, it covers the typical issues. Go through this and report back to what you find.
