Dear Sir, I recently took my car to a nearby service garage, and not to an official BMW service garage, I asked for motor oil and brake oil change. Please tell me what is the easiest way to check if the oil was really changed, I have doubts that they made anything in the car, so please help to be sure if possible.

thansk alot

Hi there,

The engine oil although it may look dirty can still be clean as not all the oil is changed with a service, so this small amount of dirty oil will stain the new, if you get a small amount on your finger you can normally see that it is not thick and really dirty, as for the brake fluid, best to get it tested, may be go to a work shop and ask for this very quick & simple test to make sure.
