The radiator was replaced in this car 13 months ago. While the car was idling, it made a loud pop lost all cooling fluid and I discovered the nipple to the radiator broken there was stil enough nipple to hold hose so I reattached hose and filled with fuid but car is still overheating what makes the nipple break and what should I check next?

I recommend replacement of the plastic items in the cooling system at least every 7 years. The plastic in some of these items is prone to cracking and failure due to other items not operating normally such as the fan clutch which is there to help move air across the heat exchangers at high temperatures at idle or low speeds.
