Hi,
I replaced all four wheel bearings on my car and now the ABS is faulty. The ABS fault light is not on.
What happens is that when you apply the brakes, just before the car stop, the ABS comes in. It happens everytime you stop. IOW, the ABS is acting as if one of the wheels is skidding. I cleaned all the sensors, but no change.
I disconnected one wheel sensor and then the brakes works normaly, but the ABS light on the dash comes on. I also had the scanned for a fault, but the scanner does not pick any faults up.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would be thinking that this will be a wheel sensor problem, did you do the scan with a generic scanner? If so it may not be able to pick up all the required codes for the BMW, (this is a common problem with a lot of generic scanners and not just reading BMW's, I would be getting a factory scan done first, I feel that this will pin point your concern, start here.
