1993 BMW 325 leak

The car leaks water near the fan blade. It caused one of the blades to rust and break off>

A leaking water pump will cause this, has it ever been replaced? They do have a fairly short lifespan, maybe 5-7 years on average.

Thank you I was wondering however if it could be a head gasget that could be leaking. Since it is leaking right by the fan blade? Or if you are pretty sure it is a water pump.

Matt, if you pressure test the cooling system it will show the leak and I like to start with the easy stuff first, if the water pump is bad, it will be a fairly east fix. Sound OK to you mate? ♥

What year is the Audi? Yes the A4 is a good car, unfortunately, I dont have much working experience with them.
