94 ranger, 280,000. When shifting from 1st to 2nd (its only happened twice) the truck lunges forward and loses power. I have to downshift and get back up to speed and then the trucks fine. No problem lights have popped up and all my gauges are fine. Theres nothing in the manual about this. All I could think of was to check the clutch fluid, and that is fine. What should I do? It almost feels like im running out of gas, I know im low, but im not on the red line yet.

Well I put 8 gallons of gas in her and drove for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. So hopefullly it was just me being a dope and running out of gas. But tommorow I gotta get to work and thatll be the real test.
