hi there , i have an old classic car , vanden plas princess 1971 1300 , car drove fine until recently , car will start but will not move forwards , i have changed drive shaft couplings as i found these to be very worn , but the problem remains , would appreciate any help thankyou

When engaging gears and releasing the clutch, any driveshaft fault should produce grinding noise. If no noise are present, the problem should be with the clutch, they could be worn.
Do you have clutch pedal pressure and is the clutch pedal very stiff?
