1969 Feedback wiring question

I am trying to wire up an ignition key switch to a motor im using 4 a wood splittter I have 3 wires 1 off of coil 1 coming off of starter and 1 off of battery and on the switch there r acc. Bat, and ign then there is a post that sticks out farther then the others in the center I would like to know what wires go where

Need to know what your eng is out of?
Is it point type or 1st gen electronic?
Did the car have a resistor in ign system?
If U can give some of this info I might be able to help
