1996 Acura CL 96 Acura cuts off while driving?

I have a 96 Acura 3.0 CL that cuts off while I am driving it. Some days it will do it 4 times in a mile and sometimes it runs fine for weeks. It usually only does it for the first couple of miles I drive and it is worse in the summer when it is hot. Also when its hot outside sometimes I have to crank it 10 times for it to start. When it does cut off the green key light in the upper right comes on. I took it in and of course it wouldn't do it for the mechanic. He cleaned out the throttle body housing but that didn't do it. Any suggestions?

Hi mug213386,

It should not be anything to do with the throttle body. The cause is electrical and I would suggest checking the ignition switch.

When engine stalled, are the other dash indicators lights showing?
