AC does work but does not allow me to control temperature. With A/C it does blow cold but not as cold as it should. With A/C off I cannot control heat and only blows slightly hot. Freon level was good and everything else seems to be in working order. Got to temperature blend door actuator but not clicking/grinding. Have to buy angled screwdriver to get it out and play with the flap but am I heading in the right direction? Any chance it could be electrical or with the A/C knob itself?

When you change the temperature from max hot to max cold, can you hear the door moving? If you cannot then I would suggest removing the actuator and operating the temperature to see if it is even moving.

If it is not moving then we need to check power. If you have power to it then the actuator is stuck. If not then we may have a control issue.

However, when you say you have good Freon pressure, what were they?

The fact that you don't get much heat tells us that this is most likely a blend door actuator issue so that is why we need to start with this.

Below is the info from the manual on this. Please let us know what you find with this. Thanks
