He AC stopped blowing cold. I had it recharged last year

The AC stopped blowing cold. I had it recharged last year it ran out so I suspect a leak. However, I want some parts and recharged it and it is still blowing hot. What could be the issue? Thanks for your response.

There are a number of things that could cause this, so we need to start with checking the pressure and finding out what is there. If you filled the system, then we can assume it has enough to turn the compressor on, but we need to confirm that first.

I am attaching chart below that will help with figuring out possible causes based on the pressures.

If you don't have a gauge set then you can rent them from a local parts store because if adding freon did not get it to blow cold it may be overcharged at this point so pressures must be the first step.

Once we know what they are, please consult the chart for possible causes. Let us know what you find, and we can go from there. Thanks
