On the dashboard of a VW Touran 2014, I get on the dashboard, the ABS light. I have used the ANCEL VD500 to read the diagnostics and below are 6 codes for ABS reported.

-01314. Engine Control Module
-Left front ABS wheel speed sensor
-Right front ABS wheel speed sensor

-01130 ABS operation
-01317 Instrument cluster control module
-03095 Diagnostic interface for data bus coded incorrectly.

I am also getting these other fault codes.

steering angle
central electric
-06012 CLUTCH 2, tolerance limit reached
-06279 vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module - implausible signal

Please advise on how I can have these fixed. Thank you.

Was this car in a flood? It sounds like you could have a problem with the CAN system of the car, let's clear all the codes and then turn the system on without starting the engine and then run the codes again to see what comes up. What we are trying to do is see which codes are more prevalent than the others so we can get a clue on what the problem is. I have seen the instrument cluster cause problems like this, but I want to see if the cluster code comes up first.

These are some of the issues noted while driving the car.

1. Losing power on acceleration sometimes before picking up sometimes with a burst of power.
2. Sometimes car rolls back when proceeding from a stop while uphill or rolls forward when reversing on a slope

Please advise how to proceed.

Thank you.

So, was the car in a flood or is the wiring messed up? Is this a race car?

19-CAN Gateway -- Status: Malfunction 0010
02-Auto Trans -- Status: Malfunction 0010
03-ABS Brakes -- Status: Not registered 0011

You didn't start the engine before running the codes correct? To me to sounds like the ABS control module has gone bad, here is how to replace it. This problem is not obvious, if you want to take it to the dealer, I would not blame you. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for writing back.

No it wasn't in a flood. It has a sun roof and had a leakage at one time with water in the boot, also went over the carpets in the passenger area. It is not a race car.

No. I didn't start the engine before running the codes.

So we replace the ABS control module.

What about these 2 codes on the Auto Trans?

For the clutch problem please start a new thread because we only handle one problem per. Since there is a Wheel-Speed Signal code let's check the sensors manually.

Here is a guide to help:.

Please go over this guide and get back to us.
