I have the car listed above SS model, which will not start or communicate with the computer trow the obd2 port I have checked all grounds and fuses I have even tried to replace the ECM. But when I have the key in the ignition on accessories there is no check engine light, and it doesn't even attempt to turn over it just clicks. But everything electric in the car works. Please help.

Hi,

Are you able to tell where the click is coming from when trying to start it? For example, does it seem to come from the starter motor or a relay?

As far as the DLC, check pin 16 for B+ voltage. It should be present at all times. If it isn't, check the DLC fuse in the interior fuse box (left side). See pic 1.

When you check this fuse, in addition to the fuse itself, confirm there is power to and from it.

Let me know.

Hi,

Do you have power at pin 16 in the DLC? As far as the video, the lights are going on and off. Is that due to you cycling the key or is that happening by itself?

Let me know.

Hi,

I need to look through wiring schematics, but there are three different options. I need to know the 8th digit of the VIN number. It should be a J or a W unless the engine is supercharged.

Let me know what it is.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

Check pins 4 and 5 for continuity to ground. See pics below. If we have power and ground, the PCM may have failed.

Let me know.
