2010 Ford Fusion Repair Question

What could be causing this 2010 Fusion stall issue?
While driving my 2010 Fusion has stalled 3 times in the last month. The engine remains on, but I get no response when I hit the accelerator. Each time, I've been able to pull to the side of the road, cut the engine and fire it back up with no issues then I'm on my way. Any ideas?

I have a 2006 mercuy milan that does the same exact thing... have you found what this may be?
