Crank position sensor location

Car has lost acceleration, will randomly die at idle and at speed. Car does not change gears like it used to when it was in good working order. I have ordered a new crank position sensor due to the code error. Can not find this sensor on the motor. Where is the crank position sensor on a 2009 vw passat 2.0 turbo engine?

It is near the front of the engine down low here is a guide to help you get an idea on what you are in for
