Volvo XC70 Fuse Problem

Hi, how can I get to lower part of the engine compartment fuse box? I need to replace R9 relay, responsible for the non working wipers.
Thank you

The relay that controls the wipers is R8 and it is in the engine compartment on the drivers side. Remove the fuse box cover to access the realy. Are you sure the relay is the problem and nota software issue?

I have exactly the same problem on my XC70. The question is how do you remove the upper fuse/relay holder to expose the lower fuse holder ?

I removed the 10mm nut but the holder appears to be in a gray plastic case that is mysteriously attached to the main box.

The lower holder that contains:

No. No. Fuse function
F9 11B/9 6/1 Wiper Motor Module (WMM)

It appears this is a relay that must be or a fuse? Did you have to go to the dealer to have this replaced, did it fix the wiper problem and appoximately how much is the WMM?

Thank you Cam@cvolvo.com
