2008 Honda Civic Repair Question

What is making the noise.
After I turn the car on. I the turn my air on and hear a knocking noise in the engine bay on. 2008 Honda civic lx. It speeds up as I hit the gas and stops when I turn the air off. What is causi g the noise.

could be two things, the ac compressor failing or the condenser fan failing. let a shop listen to it for you to verify.

Try un pluging the fan and then the compressor to see whick is making the noise
