Are the struts (electronic) unreliable on the 2008 dts?
The left front strut is bad on my 2008 dts. the dealer is the only place i can seam to find a replacement electronic strut and it is @$900.00. The non electronics struts are readily available. My delema is do i spend the big bucks to put an OEM electronic strut in only to have the other one or even the new on go bad in a year or two. or do i just replace both front struts with non electronic ones and be done with it? Also if i do put non electronic on the front, do the rear still work? any help would be great.

they are not unreliable. they are excellent for the performance of the suspension.
you can get them from the dealer and have them installed at a shop to save a couple of bucks. if you use an aftermarket, you will notice a difference in the ride and will be disappointed.
