2003 Cadillac DTS V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 125,00 miles
A mechanic diagnosed that in order to correct the rumble coming from the front passenger side, I needed to replace both electronic struts at a cost of $2,000.00 installed. Can the passenger side electronic strut be repaired or is the replacment of both driver and passenger side required?

When does this rumble occur, while turning the steering wheel? To answer your question, you do not have to replace both at the same time, and the strut itself is non-repairable.

The rumble sound does not occur while turning the steering wheel. It occurs while driving over a rough surface
